Greetings Jollyworkrs!

Stakeholder Engagement and Clienting

What is a stakeholder?
The first lesson is for free - everyone is a stakeholder.
Stakeholder Management

The community, customers, clients, politicians, workmates, suppliers, investors, bosses and baristas - your team interacts with these stakeholders on a daily basis. But are these relationships optimised for mutual benefit and success?

With a particular emphasis on the world of council services, housing and facilities management, this half day course takes a deep dive into what makes your stakeholders tick and how we can utilise the best from our relationships with them.

Applying the psychology of gradually escalating reciprocal self-disclosure, we look at ways in which to develop trust and confidence. The session is filled with numerous activities and discussions, including an experiment or two.

By the end of this workshop participants should be able to:

  • Understand the importance of first impressions and how to establish stakeholder relations
  • Analyse stakeholder priorities and conceive a winning strategy
  • Prepare a formula to nurture and reinforce the relationship
  • Stakeholders with benefits (this isn't what you think it might mean)

Participants will emerge from this session with a new found confidence and excitement to test out the techniques learned only moments ago.

This course is ideally suited to new or emerging managers who have a stakeholder remit and are responsible for representing your organisation or brand. Established managers would also benefit as a refresher for fine tuning their stakeholder strategy.
